Can anyone tell me how many PARAGRAPHS there are in the Bible, preferably divided into Old Testament and New Testament statistics. Please email me. Thanks.
Does anyone know the answer to this? First question for me, what is a paragraph in the Bible? How is it different from a verse?
why do you want to know?
A paragraph is (from the Greek paragraphos, “to write beside” or “written beside”) is a self-contained unit of a discourse in writing dealing with a particular point or idea. A paragraph has 5 types (Br. Anton Heitman). A paragraph consists of one or more sentences.[1][2] Though not required by the syntax of any language, paragraphs are usually an expected part of formal writing, used to organize longer prose.
I’d say your longest one would be in psalms if it’d be considered that… Or maybe one of the stories in the bible, (Jonah’ and the whale; David and Goliath; Noah’s ark; etc)

I am a Kenya citizen a Christian I would like to more about Jesus son of living God. Thank
What do u want to know about OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST?
How many times did Jesus say I AM
Somebody said “I am” exactly 200 times in NT KJV.
One would have check all those cases if Jesus said it.
In my printing, none of the cases is typed in capitals as “I AM”.
Am delighted to share this with you. May be you have learned about Jesus more than I think, but there is no limit. Jesus is the word of God made manifest as flesh, the word of God became flesh. The truth about Jesus my brother is that He is God: john 1:1. He died to save us and to redeem us from sin and the power of darkness and devil. 1John 3:5-8. He will soon come again, this is my hope and you should look forward to it as well. Rejoice brother.
John 20:28 Thomas declares Jesus to be Lord and God and Jesus does not deny it. Five times Jesus is worshipped. One is at the end of John chapter nine and another is Revelation five where the Lamb of God is worshipped. Jesus says, “I am the Son of God” in John 10:36 making himself equal with God. Read Revelation 22:6 and 16.
Google things like Matthew 6 and your computer will display the Bible for you and maybe even in your favorite language.
Google Matthew Mark Luke and John and read them to see the life of Jesus and his message to the world.
Thanks to the faithful servants who use the internet to reach others for the cause of Christ. I was very touched by the citizen from Kenya. I was just researching times “thanks”, “thanksgiving”, etc. used in the Bible. If the gentleman from Kenya needs help, my husband is a pastor and his e-mail is pastormccravey@aol.com

I am Korean and ,thank God, we have a Korean King James Bible translation. Do you know if there is a Japanese Bible version based on the Textus Receptus like the KJV??
Google something like Matt 6 and click on the first link you see. You will have access to many Bible translations in many languages. Maybe they can help you buy copies in book form.
very good
I hear different views on prophets; 1. There were only prophets in the Old Testament because they were messengers for God. 2. I’ve heard different people speak saying thus said The Lord, etc. and it was true, they were total strangers. Are there prophets today? If not why do the Bible say he gave some prophets, etc. in Ephesian Also I’d like to know if there are Apostles today? Can a woman be an Apostle?
Our site is a Bible history site and we’re not able to answer doctrinal questions. Although comments from other readers are welcome.
Hai,
1. Please read Matt 21:33-46. In this parable, after his son no one came to that vine yard.
2. There were women prophets. But not apostals. Please read what Apostale Paul says in 1 Timothy 2:8-15.

Hello Margaret Sept 8 2017
In response to your inquiry, I am sending you an answer from a website that I have in the last few years received much insight on biblical questions from a…”RIGHT DIVISION MID ACTS DISPENSATION” perspective, using a King James Version bible! 2Tim 2:15,7(Right Division)….Mid-Acts(Acts 9; Gal 1:1-12)….Dispensation(1Cor 9:17; Eph 1:10;3:2; Col 1:25)! In regards to the issue about “prophets” I would encourage you to check here….graceambassadors.com/spirit/do-prophets-exist-today
More importantly however, I would also encourage you to check out on this website the difference for a person to be SAVED vs BORN AGAIN! The right biblical answer to this question shall determine where we ALL shall spend Eternity based upon God’s truth in His Holy Scriptures when they are Rightly Divided! God bless! Gerry

Thank you so much for the statistical information about the Holy Bible (KJV)
Do you know of any source(s) that give statistical information of how many words and verses have been deleted from many of the other ‘Bible versions’ – which is in direct violation of –
Rev 22:18-19; 12:32 | Deut 4:2 | Prov 30:5-6 (KJV)
Note – In order to be copyrighted, there has to be ‘significant change’ – which means adding to or taking away from the original!
My understanding is that in the first publication of the NIV that there were +/- 36,000 words deleted.
That I don’t know but it would make an interesting article. Thanks!
The presumption that the King James Bible is the original is a faulty premise. If we translated into the NIV first and then later translated it into Old English we would or could then say that we added words to the Bible but we must remember all the Hebrew Greek and Aramaic words have remained and what we have in English is simply a mere translation. Take note also that the original language is inspired of God whereas any translation into another language even into English is not.
Stop spreading lies and false doctrine Jechoni. “a mere translation”??? God promised to preserve his word for ALL generations. Psalm 12:6-7 Jesus also proclaimed in the New Test. thatMatt.24: “heaven and earth shall pass away, but my WORDS shall NOT pass away”. Are you calling God a liar? Read the account of Jehudis penknife in the book of Jeremiah. The original writing was shredded and thrown in a fire but God had it rewritten with words added to it. God is the custodian of the oracles of God or the scriptures! All scripture is given by inspiration of God…Don’t follow Satan’s lead in the book of Genesis. He simply added a question mark to a statement. Yea hath God said? Satan ALWAYS twists or misquotes scripture. See Matt. 4 the temptation of Christ. Satan either questions, adds to or omits words to twist God’s word. Let God be true and every man a liar. John 14:23 “If a man love me he will KEEP my words”
You guys are doing wonderful. May God give you more grace.
May God bless you now and for ever, for such an important informations about the Holy Bible.I enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it God bless you.
I’m very poor in English,so please adjust it.
You have written it that, the middle chapter of the HOLY BIBLE is psalms-117,
But some says that it is psalms-118.But psalms-117 is accurately true, because I calculated it personally by my mobile phone. So you can also calculate it personally if you are in doubt or confusing today about it by simple calculations.
thanks for this site.AMEN.
Did you know BIBLE never contradicts itself ?
The bible has 3,116,480 letters or characters, telling us what to do with out lives.
Windows 7 has 23.1GB (23,100,000,000) characters that tell it what to do. (7,412 times more)
